
New Delhi: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that the Untar Pradesh Defense Node is essential for indigenous production, weeks after the Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh opened Brahmos production facilities in Lucknow.
The Uttar Pradesh Defense industrial corridor is the initiative of the Center and the UP government to increase the capacity of defense production in the most populous country. It has six nodes – Aligar, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow, Jhansi and Chitrakoot.
Modi spoke in Kanpuru during projects of projects worth £47 600 crore, including thermal power plants, rails over bridges and sewage treatment plants.
Uttar Pradesh will lead the Indian way to become the main exporter of defense, said Modi and stressed that the indigenous weapons produced during the Sindoor operation played a key role.
The Sindoor Operation was an Indian retaliatory attack against the terrorist targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-kicked Kashmir on May 22, after April 22, Pahalgam’s terrorist attack that claimed the lives of 26 individuals.

“The Sindoor Operations introduced Indian indigenous defensive abilities and power in India to the world,” PM Modi said.
The Prime Minister said Uttar Pradesh would become the center of defense equipment production. The production of AK-203 rifles has already begun in Amethi and the Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh started 11 May this year production equipment Brahmos.
During the Sindoor operation, Brahmos played an important role, Modi said.
Inaugurated the project to extend the thermal power supply in Kanpur by 660 MW £8 300 Crore and three 660 MW units of the GhatAmpur Thermal Power in Over Over £9 330 crore, according to the press release.
Among the projects started were railways above Bridges above the Panki Power House and through Panki Crossing on Panki Road on Kalyanpur Panki Mandir in Kanpur to support the Panki Thermal Power Propair.
PM Modi also stated that two basic pillars for the industrial progress of the state are self-sufficiency in the energy sector-cleaning of permanent power supply-and strong infrastructure and connectivity.

The Prime Minister also repeated three new principles of India in the fight against terrorism.
First, India will provide a decisive response to every terrorist attack, said, adding that the timing, method and conditions of this reaction will only be determined by the Indian armed forces.
Second, India will no longer be intimidated by nuclear threats, nor will it be decided on the basis of such warnings, he said.
Thirdly, India perceives both the terrorism championship and the government that protects them in the same light. The difference between Pakistan and non -state actors will no longer be accepted, he said.
