Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kangana Ranaut launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi, calling him “tapori” (noisy) and criticizing his public behaviour. Kangana Ranaut further alleged that women feel uncomfortable around him, intensifying her remarks against the Congress leader, according to a bite given by the BJP MP to news agency PTI.
“Uncomfortable feeling hota hai (It’s uncomfortable),” Kangana Ranaut said while comparing him and his sister, Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
The comments have drawn strong reactions across political circles, with leaders expected to escalate the war of words. The announcement comes at a time of heightened political activity and adds fuel to an already charged atmosphere.
Ranaut’s remarks came after 84 former bureaucrats, 116 veterans and four lawyers wrote an open letter asking Gandhi to apologize for the incident where he had tea and biscuits at the Makar Dwar entrance of parliament during the ongoing budget session.
