Sakambari Utsavams began with grandeur at the peak of Indrakeeladri, where the goddess Sri Kanaka Durg is worshiped in its nutritious form such as Sakambari Devi, Granter Food and Vegetation. Indrakeeladri took a fresh green shade, reflecting the goddess “Harita” (Verdant).
The main shrines, Mahamandapam and sub -Shrinky are richly decorated with green decorations, which means compassion for the goddess and educating aspect. “Utsava Murti” (Processional Idol) is also shrouded on Tuesday by tradition.
The devotees of all over Andhra Pradesh and various parts of India come in large numbers to witness and attend this unique celebration that will end on July 10th.
Only the first day was for the decoration of the temple and the preparation of Kadambam, the special pig -connected with Sakambari Utsavamy used approximately 50 tonnes of vegetables. Vegetables were voluntarily donated by farmers and patrons from the Godavari, Krishna and Guntur districts.
The tradition of Sakambhari Utsavams was launched at Indrakeeladri in 2007. To ensure that biblical standards, temple priests and Vedic scholars visited Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal, where similar festivals are performed every year, and are practiced and practiced in Vijaawada every year.
Kadambam, specially prepared pigs made of vegetables, rice and red gram, will be distributed without costs dedicated to 6:00 to 21:00 for the entire duration of the festival, said the temple CEO of VK Seedayak. In the afternoon, he looked at the place to prepare Kadambam and issued key instructions to ensure quality and hygiene.
Since its foundation, the festival has grown on a scale, while local farmers and retailers voluntarily donated the vegetables needed for Utsavam, including Pig preparation. The temple is decorated with pulsating displays of vegetables and leaf green.
For Vijayawady inhabitants, Kadambam Prasadam has become synonymous with Sakambari Festival – its healthy preparation and devoted meaning, making it an eagerly awaited tradition.
The temple authorities ensured a smooth arrangement for the devotees, and the EO urged the public to participate in the dedication and discipline festival.
