
Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam will observe the 45th death anniversary of renowned philanthropist Chundur Venkat Reddy, founder of CV Reddy Charities, here on Saturday (January 31). The program aims to recognize the life and enduring contributions of Chundur Venkat Reddy, who was widely admired for his charitable work and dedication to the underprivileged.
Kanaka Durga Temple Executive Director (EO) VK Seena Nayak said on Thursday that the memorial service will begin at 10 am near Rajakumari Theater in One Town here. Around 800 devotees and economically disadvantaged individuals will receive annadanam (food distribution) while 200 underprivileged women will be provided sarees under the vastradanam initiative. Besides, scholarships and financial assistance will be distributed to 110 underprivileged students, including students from Veda Pathashalas, to support their educational activities, he added.
