The founder Makkal Needhi Maiam Kamal Haasan appreciated the Indian government for his “firm response” to the terrorist attack of Pahalgam on Monday and sent “the clear message to the world that India was not bending before terror”.
In a statement on social media, Mr. Haasan said that “victory must now lead to alertness” and “a strong nation is thinking”.
Mr. Haasan applauded “brave armed forces” and people of border states such as Jammu and Kashmir, Pandjab, Haryan, Gujarat and Rajasthan for their resistance.
