The Kalyana Kernataka region, which suffered from oppression and tyranny for ages, is now experiencing a significant increase in developing initiatives focused on regional disparity axle and removal of backward brand through a special status granted seven districts with an addition in the form of Article 371 (a). On Wednesday in Bidar, he addressed the assembly after developing the national flag to mark Kalyan Karnataka Utsav.
Mr. Khandre said that in the last 12 years, in 2013–14 and 2024-25, the Council for the Development of the Kalyan Karnataka region (KKRDB) issued 2,635.60 Crore for the adoption of 5,067 development work in the Bidar district.
Of these 4 219 works worth 1,952.92 Crore, 648 work worth 450.23 Crore is running and 135 works estimated at 187.72 Crore is just launched, Mr. Khandre and added that KKRDB approved 437.91 Crore Action Plan.
In addition to the development of infrastructure, Mr. Khandre emphasized the growing green coverage in the district. The Minister stated that the district set the objective of planting nine Lakh seedlings in the years 2025-26, of which seven Lakhů seedlings have already been set in various forest and forest marginal areas. Furthermore, in the years 2026-27 the district will plant eight lakh seedlings and create kindergartens in forest areas, he added.
He said that the state government granted administrative approval for inventing eco-tourism and protection programs in Honnikeri Reserve Forest at the price of 15 GBP Crore.

Previously, the portrait of the former Deputy Prime Minister of the late Sardar VallaBhbhai was discarded in a parade from Circle Basaveshware at the Nezru Stadium in the city.
Bidar Sagar Khandre, MLA Shailendra Beldale, Chairman of the Basavaraj Jabshetta Office, was present by Shilpa Sharma, CEO of Panchayat Girish Badole and superintendent police Pradeep Gunti.
