Police renewed 204 mobile phones reported that they were either missing or stolen, and handed them over on Monday to its relevant owners.
The district superintendent Kallakurichi Police Rajat R. Chaturvedi handed over to the owners of renewed phones.
He said the cases were registered at various police stations in the district on the basis of complaints received from people who have lost their mobile phones. Subsequently, the police followed mobile phones using their IMEI number in computer crime.
Police said the owners should register their online complaints through the identity of the Equipment Identity Identity of Telecommunication (CEIR) (CEIR) (CEIR)
Owners can also register their complaints at the police station in question.
