After fighting with some people, the temple of Kalkaje Sewadaar was reportedly beaten. 35 -year -old Sewadaar located in the Church of Kalkaje in Southeast Delhi lost his life in a quarrel. The police control room was alerted to the incident around 21:30 on Friday, August 29.
Sewadar named Raju in Kalkaj’s temple also reported, “As far as I know, they took him from Dharamshaly around 9 am. There were 10-15 people. They had iron rods and sticks and beat him to death.”
He added: “The name of the deceased is Yogesh … They asked for Prasad and Yogesh asked them to wait for a few minutes, then began to threaten him … Whenever these people came to the temple, came up with an aggressive approach, and expected them to give them what they wanted.”
According to police officials, the “chunniprasad” argument broke out when the accused demanded the offer of scarf and religious food from Sewadaar. The quarrel has become a violent, in which Sewadaar, Yogendra Singh, a native of Harddoi in Uttar Pradesh, was killed.
The defendant attacked Sewadaar Fist Strikes and then defeated him with sticks, representative of the police commissioner (southeast) Hemant Tiwari informed PTI. Meanwhile, one of the accused was caught by passers -by and the others reezed.
“One of the accused, identified as Atul Pandey (30), the inhabitants of Dakshinpuri, was caught by the locals and handed over to the police,” said PTI Hemant Tiwari.
The servant, who served in the temple of Kalkaj for the last 14 to 15 years, was immediately transported to the traumatic center of Aiims for further treatment, where he succumbed to injuries. Police in Delhi registered the case at the police station Kalkaje in several parts of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit (BNS) including sections 103 (1) (murder) and 3 (5) (joint responsibility).
