Kalaburagi district has once again emerged as the best in the state in disposal of civil service applications through Atalji Janasnehi Kendra, achieving 95.42 percent disposal in December 2025.
According to official data released on Friday, the district processed 38,133 applications within the stipulated time out of 39,964 received during the month, securing the first place in the state in terms of service delivery efficiency. The applications were for 41 finance department services provided through the Nada Kacheri platform.
The district recorded a disposal index of 9.31, highlighting Kalaburagi’s performance in providing public services despite being located in the northeastern tip of the state. Officials said this success reflects the district administration’s focus on time-bound service delivery.
Taluk data showed consistently high disposal rates across the district, including Afzalpur, Aland, Chincholi, Chittapur, Jewargi, Kalaburagi, Kalagi, Kamalapur, Sedam, Shahabad and Yadrami. In Kalaburagi taluk alone, 8,926 applications were processed out of 9,566 received during the month.
The district secured its first place earlier in July 2025 and now it has repeated its performance and received public recognition. Deputy Commissioner Fouzia Taranum attributed the success to the coordinated efforts and determination of Nada Kacheri and Atalji Janasnehi Kendra staff and congratulated all the workers involved. She urged officials to keep up the momentum in the coming months.
Meanwhile, the ranking of district performance across Karnataka showed four districts from the Kalyana region of Karnataka ranked in the top 10. Kalaburagi and Vijayanagara secured the first and second positions, while Raichur finished fourth and Yadgir ninth, highlighting the region’s improving record in public service delivery.
