June 3, 2025

The Association of Health Staff Keral ASHA (Kahwa) accused Keral’s government of being vindictive against Ash, which is approaching the floor of the Chief Minister that the government is not ready to enter any compromise with ASHA on an improved salary package.

At a press conference on Monday, the leader Kahwa accused the government of cutting Ashas’s fees of 7,000 GBP by bringing new objections to incentives. They claimed that most ASHA received only 3,500 GBP in April as a honor instead of the usual 7,000 GBP.

They said that one of the primary requirements of Ashas raised was that 10 conditions associated with the full payment of the fee would be canceled. During the discussions, the Minister of Health agreed on the non -guild payment of the fee. The following government order released by the government, however, was ambiguous and Ashas claimed that rather than fully abandoned the conditions, the government called the same as incentives that Ashas received.

The government denied this accusation.

Kahwa leaders said that according to the “new” conditions of Ashas, whose solid motivation is 1,000 GBP and whose power incentives are less than 500 ₹, only only 3,500 GBP will receive as a fee. Many Ashas in the districts thus received only 3,500 GBP as a feast for April, they said.

They demanded that the new condition that reduces Ashas fee should be downloaded immediately.

Kahwa also claimed that the government, despite promises, continued to maintain an unbalanced schedule of paying fees and incentives. By sliding the fee and the correct make payments, the government tried to impose financial compression on Ashas.

Indeterminate strike

Unlimited strike launched by Ashas under the auspices of Kahwa entered 113. On Monday.

Kahwa argued that the strike was prolonged because of the undemocratic, opposing attitude of the government to Ashas’s fair demand for a better reward of government government.

Meanwhile, Kahwa members perform their national tour in all districts to create public support for their affairs. Over the last 29 days, nine districts visited and the public spillage was huge, Kahwa’s leaders said.

Ashas will remove the mega assembly in Thiruvananthapuram 18. June at the end of their national tour.
