
K-Smart, a state government project, which is to make the services of local self-governing institutions on a single platform, should be extended to three-stage Panchayats, said the Minister of the local government of MB Rajesh.
Mr. Rajesh, who addressed a press conference on Monday, said with the extension of K-Smart to Panchayats, all services of local bodily institutions online will also be available. K-SMART (Kerala Solutions for Administrative Reformation and Transform Management) has been developed by KERAL information missing for smooth digital access to the services of local body institutions.
The main Minister Pinaraya Vijayan will start a function that will be on Thursday 10:30 at 10:30 am at 10:30 am. 941 Panchayats, 152 Block Panchayat and 14 District Panchayat will also be covered with K-Smart together with six corporations and 87 municipalities, Rajesh said.
The pilot opening of K-Smart as an overture to deploy an app in Panchayats began in Karakulam Gram Panchayat in Thiruvananthapuram, Thiruvananthapuram Panchayat and Block Panchayat 1 January 2025.
