
The High Court in Kerala ordered a probe against the judge of the family court in Kollam after several complainants accused him of sexual behavior in court. Up to three complaints about sexual behavior have been raised against him, they will learn it reliably.
This means for the second time in the last six months that the accusation of a sexual offense has been raised against the state officers in the state.
The Administrative Committee (AC) of the High Court ordered a probe against V. Udayakumar, judges, family court, Chavar. The registrar (district judiciary), which explores the accusations, was asked to submit his report. AC takes into account the message on Tuesday.
The High Court launched an investigation after the Women’s opponent filed a written complaint against the main district judge Kollam and describes in detail the alleged sexual behavior that took place inside the judge in the court complex, said sources.
The judicial official was transferred as a chairman of the Tribunal for motorbikes ongoing accidents, collam, with an immediate effect of August 20 “with regard to administrative needs”, read the order issued by the registrar (district judiciary). The clerk was asked not to complete any court obligations until other orders. AC will start a suitable measure after taking into account the questioning report. The complainant has not yet approached the police, the sources said.
The absence of written complaints often prevents investigations in such cases, and the High Court will be forced to limit the action against alleged perpetrators for disciplinary proceedings, the judicial resources claimed.
Meanwhile, the district judge Kozhikode, who previously faced similar accusations, was recently renewed on duty after being suspended from service for almost six months. Shobha Annamma Kosha, Judge of the High Court, examines the incident. Some of the employees of the court publicly protested against the officer after the authorities reportedly did not oppose him. The alleged victim in this case decided to not file a complaint in the Committee on Internal Complaints of the Complex Court in Kozhikode and the police that stopped the investigation, said sources.
