The District Grievance Committee (DGC) in Hyderabad released the seized cash worth ₹21.21 crore after verifying the authenticity of the claim.
The DGC, set up under the District Election Officer, Hyderabad, is actively conducting hearings to expedite the release of legitimately seized cash and articles.
Meanwhile, flying teams (FSTs) deployed for election monitoring on Wednesday seized unaccounted cash amounting to over ₹10 crore during separate operations.
On the other hand, a total of 35 nominations have been submitted by 30 candidates so far. BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha has filed her nomination which means the second nomination has been filed on the third day of the process.
