
Election officials overseeing the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency reiterated that all candidates must conduct their campaigns in accordance with the guidelines and rules laid down by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
General Election Observer Ranjit Kumar Singh and Police Observer Om Prakash Tripathi, in a meeting held at the Returning Officer’s office on Wednesday (October 29), instructed the contesting candidates to strictly follow the Model Code of Conduct. They stressed that every rupee spent on the campaign must be properly documented and reported to the Election Commission within the stipulated time.
On the same day, in preparation for voting, a second round of electronic voting machine (EVM) randomization was conducted at the Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Stadium. The process was conducted in a transparent and systematic manner in the presence of Inspector General, Police Observer and Expenditure Observer Sanjeev Kumar Lal along with representatives of political parties and agents of the contesting candidates.
