JSP starts local membership in Anantapur
The first meeting of the committee set up by the Jana Sena Party (JSP) was held in Anantapur on Monday to get feedback on building the organizational structure of the party. JSP chief and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan set up the committee as part of his plans to build the party from the ground up.
Party Observer for Anantapur Parliamentary Constituency Vemulapati Ajay Kumar attended the meeting as the chief guest. On this occasion he said that any enthusiastic person who wants to work for JSP can submit their application.
Along with Mr. Ajay Kumar, 27 other committee members for Anantapur Parliamentary Constituency will play an active role in this process. “The main objective of the committee is to collect applications from enthusiastic ‘Janasainiks’ and submit them to the headquarters,” he said, adding that the party leadership including Mr. Pawan Kalyan would oversee the next stages of the process.
Applications relating to Anantapur and Singanamala constituencies will be accepted on June 30 at Sree 7 Congress Hall, Anantapur, while applications for Rayadurgam and Kalyandurgam constituencies will be accepted on July 1 at Rayadurgam. The meeting for Guntakal and Uravakonda constituencies will be held in Guntakal on July 2 and 3, while applications will be accepted in Anantapur from those who will not be able to attend on the scheduled dates. The process will be concluded on July 4 in Tadipatri where applications will be accepted from Janasainiks of Tadipatri constituency.
Janasainiks and ‘Veera Mahilas’ (women cadres) who want to take Mr. Pawan Kalyan’s vision to the grassroots can apply for positions in district, constituency, mandal and village level committees as well as associate committees, said Mr. Ajay Kumar. He urged everyone to make the most of the opportunity and ensure the success of the ‘Membership to Leadership’ initiative championed by Mr. Pawan Kalyan.
