Dharwad District Union of Working Journalists (DDUWJ) organized a condolence meeting at Patrakartara Bhavan in Hubballi on Thursday to pay tribute to senior journalist MN Patil who passed away in Belagavi recently.
As a reporter for UNI news agency, MN Patil worked in Hubballi for several years and on Thursday, senior journalists recalled their association with him.
His contemporary journalist Lochanesh Hugar, DDUWJ president Bandu Kulkarni, journalists Abbas Mulla, Pramod Vaidya and others mourned his demise and remembered his work and association with him.
Several journalists including DDUWJ officials Guru Bhandage, Prakash Chalageri, Shivashankar Kanthi and others were present.
