The older journalist Kudli Gururaja from Mysuro was selected for the prestigious Khadri Shamanna Journalist Prize.
Mr. Gururaja, who began his career as a journalist with newspapers Aarati in Mysuru, worked with several publications Kannada and, besides Mysur, he worked as a reporter in Hubball and Bengalur. He currently writes Daily Janamitra for Kannada.
Mr. Gururaja, who also holds a doctorate in journalism, has authors of the book on journalism and attends courses for students.
The price, which carries a handbag of 15,000 GBP and plaque, will be handed over to Mr. Gururaja in June 2025.
