Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier has been rumored to leave the club at the end of the season.
Journalist Graeme Bailey has shared with Leeds United News that Aaron Ramsdale is a target for the Championship side.
“The goalkeeper situation will be fascinating. Ramsdale, Trafford, Kelleher—there are some outstanding options available,” Bailey said.
“I’m getting the sense that Meslier might move back to France or elsewhere. It could suit all parties.
“Ramsdale is a player of interest. Leeds are assessing the goalkeeper situation, and he’s on the market. He is firmly on their radar.”
The former Arsenal goalkeeper is a key target for Leeds, and it remains to be seen if they will pursue him at the end of the season.
Leeds are currently vying for promotion to the Premier League and are well-positioned to return to the top flight. Meanwhile, Ramsdale is seeking to secure his long-term future, and joining Leeds could present an appealing opportunity for him.
Ramsdale would be a quality signing

Ramsdale has demonstrated his quality at clubs like Bournemouth and Arsenal. There is no doubt he would be a strong addition to Leeds United. Currently, he is impressing with Southampton in the Premier League. However, Southampton is among the favorites for relegation this season, and Ramsdale is unlikely to want to play in the Championship next year.
The England international is too talented for the second tier and will aim to remain in the top flight. If Leeds secure promotion to the Premier League, joining them would be an ideal move for Ramsdale.
Leeds will need to strengthen their squad to compete in the Premier League, and signing a top-quality goalkeeper should be a priority. Meslier has shown inconsistencies, and Ramsdale would represent a significant upgrade.
Leeds are also considering goalkeepers like James Trafford and Caoimhin Kelleher. It will be intriguing to see who they ultimately sign.
