
Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB) are ready for timely support with key overseas players Josh Hazlewood and Tim David expected to return to his playing XI for Play -off IPL 2025. Stand -in Captain Jitesh Sharma confirmed on Tuesday. Available, both of them are expected to return to the key knockout phases.
Hazlewood, Standout RCB pitching this season with 18 goals in just 10 matches, was postponed from 27 April. The Australian Pacer continued training in Brisbane as part of the final of the Australian World Championship in the World Championship against South Africa and returned to full condition and joined the RCB camp in Lucknow.
Hazlewood lasted the Australian summer dried injuries. David was omitted from XI for the game against Lucknow, with Liam Livingstone and Nuwan Thushara taken overseas slots next to Cameron Green and Will Jacks. Lungi Ngidi was also missing.
The RCB first decided Bowl in Lucknow to ensure Top-DVA completion in the league scene, which would provide a second chance in the playoffs.
