
Manchester’s head United Ruben Amorim received support from Jose Mourin to succeed in the club after a difficult start to revive with Red Devils. United ended 15. “At the same time, it looks like they support Ruben, giving him time and conditions to go forward,” the Portuguese coach continued.
Mourinho supports AMORIM with a personal example
Mourinho said he heard the quotes of Amorim, that he was happy to come to United and had a hard six months. Mourinho said that this experience was similar to his first few months in Porto, where the team even tried to qualify for the UEFA Cup.
Mourinho then pointed out how things changed for him when he made Porto one of the exciting teams in Europe.
“I read some quotes from him, who says he’s happy to come and had these six months. When I went to Porto, the same thing happened to me. I went in January, we had more difficult six months, we even tried to qualify for the UEFA Cup, and then what happened happened,” Mourinho said.
Mourinho led Porto to the Champions League title during his time in the club and then joined Chelsea. Amorim will focus on building a new season because they will not have European competitions they should worry about.
