“I will try to pass on my experience, especially younger players. But at the same time I have to play and do my work on the pitch.”
“It is given that I will help everyone around me, but even at my age you can still learn a lot, you can still improve and you can still improve, which is what I want to do in this club.”
Henderson returns to the English highest football after a two -year absence. In 2023 he left Liverpool to join Saudi Arabia Al-Ettifaq, where he played only six months, followed by a recent Stint with Ajax, where 57 performances went for the Dutch club.
Even had a surprising return to the English group below Thomas Tuchel Although it is excluded from the Euro 2024 team.
Brentford’s head coach Keith Andrews said, “When we learned Jordan’s availability, it was quite a simple decision.
“We have done our due diligence around his recent games to find out where it is: still phenomenally fit and is still phenomenally motivated to achieve things in the game because it has achieved a lot,” he added.
After moving to Liverpool from his club Boyhood Club, Sunderland, Henderson replaced Steven Gerrad as Captain Liverpool and led them to the Premier League and Champions League under Jurgen Klopp. He hopes to bring similar revenues with Brentford in the coming season.
