A video of a former South African cricket Jonty Rhodes playing on a beach cricket with a group of young people at Artggyal Beach in Alappuzha happened on social media the next day.
The iconic cricket, which was known for his acrobatic field, later had an online chat with the Minister of Tourism by Keral PA Mohammad Riyas, who suggested that a cricket that was on a 10 -day wellness and rejuvenation break.
The cricket told the Minister that he was very impressed by the picturesque charm and warm hospitality of the state. Mr. Riyas remembered that he was a fan of professional cricket days of Mr. Rhodes.
After staying on Hausboat in Marari near Alappuzha with his family, Mr. Rhodes visited Fort Kochi and enjoyed a walk of heritage, which surprised him with the similarities between Fort Kochi and Cape Town, where there were tangible influences of Portuguese, Dutch and British colonialisms.
The joint director of the tourism Keral Subair Kutty Pi and Deputy Director of G. Sreekumar, who were with Mr. Rhodes during the online chat, introduced Memento in Fort Kochi.
