Adidvara, an initiative of AssisTech Foundation, will be organizing an inclusive recruitment event ‘Job Habba Mysuru 2026’ to connect Persons with Disabilities (PwD) with job opportunities.
It says that the event to be held at the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) on March 28 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm will bring together leading employers, educational institutions and job seekers under one roof.
“The Adidvara Job Habba Mysuru 2026 event is being conducted in association with AIISH with Equibeign Foundation as a strategic partner and with the support of the Ministry of Social Welfare for the Differently Handicapped and Senior Citizens,” the statement said.
Job Habba is designed to bridge the gap between talented candidates with disabilities and inclusive organizations committed to building a diverse workforce. More than 500 PWD candidates from Mysuru and surrounding districts are expected to participate in the event.
A statement from the organizers said that 26.8 million people in India have some form of disability and two-thirds of these people are unemployed – a number that will only increase without proper job skills training.
“Ignoring the potential of disabled people can cost any nation very dearly. For India, leaving people with disabilities out of the economy means a loss of about 5% to 7% of GDP,” the statement said.
Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to register and take a step towards a meaningful career. They can register at https://lll.atfadidvara.org/public-event/3kAikTTMjT5xWDQ3pyAO/candidate
