Governor Lieutenant Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha on Wednesday (May 21, 2025) announced a government employment for the closest relatives of civilians killed in recent Pakistan’s shelling along the border.
Around 23 civilians lost their lives during shelling and fire Pakistan in a recent India-Pakistani military confrontation. Raj Bhawan, spokesman for Lieutenant’s Governor, declared a government employment for the closest members of the family affected by cross -border attacks.

During his visit to Pooncha, Mr. Sinha said: “The right rehabilitation of the affected families is my highest priority. J&K, led by HON’BLE Prime Minister Shri Narendry Modi and Hon’ble Interior Shri Shri Shah, undertook to ensure proper rehabilitation.” ”
He also added that there was an effort to build individual and community bunkers across Jammu and Kashmir within the scheme related to expenses (SRE).
