Jammu and Kashmir Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday (May 3, 2026) instigated a large rally in Srinagar for continued anti-drug initiatives and issued a strong warning to narco-terrorist networks and anti-national elements.
At the invitation of Mr. Sinha, the Speaker of the House, Cabinet Ministers, legislators, regional party chiefs, top security officials, religious leaders, educational institutes and hospital administrators took part in a two-kilometre rally from the Tourist Reception Center (TRC) site to Lal Chowk. Students performed skits, sang songs and raised awareness about substance abuse on the occasion.
