The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has signed a loan agreement with the Union Government to provide an Official Development Assistance (ODA) loan of ¥1,02,480 million for the Bengaluru Metro Rail Phase 3 (I) project, aimed at enhancing sustainable urban mobility in the city.
The agreement was signed in New Delhi between Alok Tiwari, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, and Takeuchi Takuro, Principal Representative, JICA India Office, according to a JICA report.
