Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra on Monday (March 31, 2025) did not appear in front of Khar’s police in connection with the case registered for his “traitors” Jibe at the representative of Chief Minister Ekath Shinde, while the team went to Mahim to “check” his availability.
He was supposed to appear in front of Khar’s police during the day, the official said, adding that it was the second time he was summoned.
“The Khar police team went to his house in Mahim, where his family stays to check whether to appear in connection with the case or not. Because no, it will soon be decided on the next procedure,” the official said.
The first announcement looking for his performance was issued last week and the comedian request for seven days was rejected by the police.
The Madras 28 High Court awarded Mr. Kama an interim forest bail on the condition that he was bonding to the satisfaction of the judge in Vanuro in the Villupuram district in Tamil Nadu.
In 2021, Mr. Kamra moved to Tamil Nadu from Bombai, and since then he has been “usually the inhabitants of this state (Tamil Nadu)” and that he has been afraid of arrests by the police in Mumbai.
Last week, three fir fir were transported to Nashik Rural, Jalgaon and Nashik (Nandgaon) at the Khar police station, where the case has already been registered for the complaints of Shiv Mla Murji Patel.
The studio, where the Kamra shot its video lampooning Shinde through a division in Shiv hay, is located in Khar in the western part of the metropolis. Shiv Sainiks plundered a studio and a hotel located on the night of March 23.

In response to reports, Mr. Kamra took on the X -Social Media platform and called Mumbai Cops’ efforts as “a waste of time and public resources”.
