Jharkhand Shocker: The tragic incident was reported on Saturday morning, when two trains derailed Kharsawa in the Saraikela district. The train accident occurred in the Chandil area, which falls under the ADRA division of the southeast railway, reported.
Train services between the Chandil-Tatanagar section on the southeast railway were disrupted after more than 20 cars were derailed, an official informed PTI.
“There was no injury news in derailment,” the official quoted. Vikash Kumar, head of the divisional commercial manager (ADRA division), noted that the train services on the track up and down from Chandil are influenced for derailment, PTI said.
While restoration work is underway, many express and postal trains were either diverted, ended or canceled for a short time.
The list of trains that were canceled includes 20894 Patna-Tatanagar Vande Bharat Express, 28181 Tatanagar-Katihar Express and 28182 Katihar-Tatanagar Katihar-Tatanagar.
