Minister of Education Jharkhand Ramdas Soren reportedly suffered a brain injury after falling into the bathroom on Saturday.
He was aircraft transported to the hospital in Delhi for better treatment, the leader was Qyoted by the PTI news agency.
Minister of Health Jharkhand Irfan Ansari said Ramdas Soren was admitted to the hospital in Jamshedpur, where doctors detected blood clotting in his brain.
“Soren was taken to Delhi. I spoke to Apollo director. He assured me that the treatment would start as soon as the minister got to the hospital,” said former Union Minister Arjun Munda, who was at Sonari Airport in Jamshedpur.
Munda, the leader of BJP and the former main Minister Jharkhand, said that Ramdas had suffered “brain bleeding due to a sudden increase in pressure”.
“His condition is mentioned as critical, but I hope he will recover soon,” he said.
Ansari said, “Ramdas Soren’s health suddenly deteriorated. He fell into the bathroom, resulting in severe brain injury and blood clot. I am constantly in contact with his family and watching his condition.”
