Hairdresser Celebrit Javed Habib and his son Anonos Habib were charged with 23 cases of fraud for alleged deception of people £7 Crore via the investment system, the PTI press agency reported on Wednesday to the police.
Superintendent police Krishna Kumar Vishnoi said the Duo of Father-Syn operated the system under the name FLC, which promised annual investors revenues 50-70% for bitcoin investment.
Fraud ‘operated as organized gang’
According to The Times of India, which quoted investigators, the case was created in 2023, when the jaw, his son and head of Saifullah Khan, attended a promotional event at the hotel in Sambhal. The police issued a notice of the prospect for a hairdresser celebrity and his son.
If they fail to refund the victim’s money, their property can also be confiscated according to Section 107 Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
