Concerns Grow for Japanese Truck Driver Swallowed by Sinkhole as Rescue Efforts Enter 4th Day

"This is a huge disaster," said Fumiko Sato, a local resident who witnessed the incident. "No one could have imagined something like this could happen in our quiet little town. We’re all very worried about the driver and the ongoing rescue efforts."
