
The best Felix Auger-aliassime was not enough to prevent Jannik Sinner from reaching the second after-one finals at the US Open. Sinner’s victory came shortly after Carlos Alcaraz defeated the 24-Time Grand Slam Champion Novak Djokovic at the Arthur Ashe stadium. Alcaraz needed only two hours and 23 minutes to register 6-4, 7-6 (4), 6-2 victories.
