“It’s hard to say. I felt great in court. I think we all saw it. My goal was trying to understand where my level was in this tournament. It increased every day. So I’m very happy,” Sinner said in an interview with the court.
“The result really doesn’t matter. But as I felt today, there was a very positive sign for me. Everything can change in one day. It’s not that one performance could tell everything about my shape. But I’m very happy.
In the semifinals, Sinner will try to carry the winning dynamics when he faces Tommy Paul of the United States, who defeated Hubert Hurcacz in direct sets in the quarterfinals.
