Samudaya Kalaburagi, one of the oldest amateur theater groups in the state, will organize a play, Janata Raja Shivaji, who captures the life and achievements of Marath Warrior King Chhatrapati Shivaji Mahara on Saturday.
The Minister of the District District of Samudaya Shrishail Ghoo and former State President Samudaya RK Hudgi, who addressed a press conference on Wednesday, said RP Prasanna founded Samudaya in 1975.
Over the past five decades, Samudaya has achieved remote areas of the state that educates and creates awareness of various social issues among ordinary people. Samudaya is a folk movement, they said.
Janata Raja Shivaji will be presented in the auditorium of St. Mary School. The game is the author of Prabhu Khanapure and directed by Ramzan Ullagaddi. The game will play up to 21 theater artists.
Kalaburagi South MLA Allambura Patil Patil starts the event and prof. Hudgi will deliver the inauguration address.
The President of the Samudaya Datatreya Ikkalaki district will chair the event.
Dinkar More, Suryakant Kadam, Meenakshi Bali, Sujata Yangamamshetti, HM Belamagi and Shivasharanappa Mulegaon will participate as guests.
