Former Minister and leader BJP, Gali Janardhan Reddy, representing the gangavati in the legislative assembly, were disqualified from the house after his convicted court of the main special judge for CBI cases in Hyderabad.
Mr. Reddy’s disqualification entered into force from 6 May 2025 in terms of the provisions of Article 191 (1) (a). (E) India, which was read with Section 8 of the 1951 People Act.
Since its release, disqualification would continue for six years if the convict remained, according to the announcement issued by the Secretary of the MK Vishalakshi.
The CBI Special Court in Hyderabad on 6 May 2025 awarded four people to the seven -year imprisonment, including Mr. Reddy and his relative BV Srinivas Reddy, CEO of Obulapuram Mining Corporation, in the case of illegal mining in Anantapore in divisible Andhra Pradesh.
The case was registered almost 16 years ago.
