External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Wednesday (Nov 12, 2025) met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting in Canada, where Monday’s terror attack took place near the Red Fort.
“We discussed our bilateral ties with a focus on trade and supply chains. We exchanged views on the Ukraine conflict, the situation in the Middle East/West Asia and the Indo-Pacific,” Mr Jaishankar said at X after the meeting, adding: “I appreciate his condolences on the loss of life in the Delhi blast.”
Mr Jaishankar also met Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand earlier in the day.

“To our dear friend @narendramodi and the brave people of India: Sara and I and the people of Israel send our deepest condolences to the families of the victims. Israel stands firmly with you in grief and strength at this time,” Mr Netanyahu wrote on social media in both Hindi and English.
