
On Friday, India announced the improvement of its technical mission in Kabul to the Embassy status and undertook to restore its development work in Afghanistan. The Jaishankar also appreciated the Taliban Settings to show sensitivity towards security concerns from the new Delhi.
Jaishankar gave the twins during his extensive interviews with Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, who landed on Thursday in Nový Delhi during his first diplomatic visit to India.

India withdrew her officials from the embassy in Kabul after the Taliban seized power in August 2021. In June 2022, India renewed its diplomatic presence in the Afghan capital by committing the “technical team”.
Since the Taliban came to power, the new Delhi also has been on the fact that Afghan soil must not be used for terrorist activities against any country.
What did India announce for Afghanistan?
Jaishankar published a number of posts on x about today’s meetings and said he was pleased to meet Muttaqi in Nový Delhi.
“This visit is an important step in the development of our links and confirmation of permanent Indian Afghanistani friendship. He discussed the support of India for the development of Afghanistan, our bilateral trade, territorial integrity and independence, people’s links and capacity building.
At a press conference, Muttaqi later shared details about his meeting with Jaishankar in a wide range of questions, including those related to the economy, policy, diplomation and security.
Long -term partnership of India
“Some of the achievements were upgrading the technical presence of the Indian government to the embassy … and the diplomatic delegation of the Islamic Emirate will arrive in Delhi. We also agreed to strengthen the air corridor to strengthen our trade.
Meanwhile, the Indian long -term partnership, which has seen many Indian projects in Afghanistan, announced that the Minister of External Affairs had announced.
Jaishankar said India and Afghanistan share a common commitment to growth and prosperity, and that India is fully determined for Afghan sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence.
Ready to commit to six new projects
Jaishankar said India is now ready to commit to six new projects whose details will soon be announced. “The gift of 20 ambulances is another gesture of goodwill and I would like to give you five of them personally as a symbolic step,” he said.
Jaishankar also appreciated Kabul’s invitation to Indian companies to explore mining opportunities in Afghanistan and state that the proposal can be further discussed.

“We have a common interest in strengthening trade and trade. I am glad to notice the start of the next flight between Kabul and the new Delhi,” he said.
Why is Muttaqi in India?
Muttaqi landed on Thursday in Nový Delhi, on the first way of a high level from Kabul, days after the Taliban Sanction Committee approved an exception to the ban on traveling it was imposed.
The UNSC has approved a temporary exemption from a ban on traveling on 30 September, which made Muttaqi to visit the new Delhi from October 9 to 16, according to the UN statement.
The Indian visit to Muttaqi emphasizes the efforts of the Taliban administration to strive for international recognition and emphasizes the strategic step of India to face its regional rivals, Pakistan and China, who are deeply involved in Afghanistan.
Here’s what India gives Afghanistan:
1- India would further deepen its involvement in development cooperation projects, especially in the healthcare sectors, public infrastructure and capacities.
2 – As part of the Indian ongoing healthcare cooperation with Afghanistan, several projects are carried out, including the foundation of the Thalassemie Center, the modern diagnostic center and the replacement of the heating system in the Gandhi Institute of Child Health (Igich) in Kabul.
In addition, 3- India will build a 30-bed hospital in Kabul’s Bagrami district, an oncological center and a traumatic center in Kabul and five maternal health clinics in the provinces of the Pactics, Khost and Pactia. Approximately 75 prosthetic limbs were successfully attached to Afghan nationals, the Afghan government and the international community widely awarded.
India will also continue to expand medical attention and provide high -quality treatment for health care to Afghan nationals.
4- As a special gesture, India will give Afghan people twenty ambulances. The Minister of External Affairs after his meeting with the Foreign Minister was symbolic.
Capacity
The 5-V Area of India’s capacities continues to offer scholarships to Afghan students as part of the e-OCR scholarship system. Other ways for Afghan students who will study at Indian universities within ICCR and other scholarship programs are active consideration.
6- India expressed its willingness to help the Afghan government in the reconstruction of residential buildings in areas affected by earthquakes.
7- Both sides have reviewed the progress of Indian humanitarian aid programs in Afghanistan, including food grain supply, social support items, school documentary, materials for disasters and pesticides.

8- Both parties discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in sport, especially cricket, to expand with cultural interactions.
9- Both parties welcomed the opening of the corridor for air transport in India-Afghanistan, which will further strengthen direct trade and trade between the two countries. The new corridor is expected to streamline connectivity and strengthen bilateral trade.
This visit is an important step in the development of our ties and confirmation of permanent friendship in India-Afghanistan.
10- Both parties have agreed to cooperate on hydroelectric projects in order to deal with the energy needs of Afghanistan and to support its agricultural development.
