The hero of the census is Rahul Gandhi and not Prime Minister Narendra Modi, working President TPCC T Jagga Reddy, while mocking BJP for seeing the municipal angle even in the census.
“It is Prime Minister Modi, who should explain whether people of other religions will be included in the census or not,” said Mr. Jagga Reddy in the interrogation of the Minister of Union G. Kishan Reddy that the backwardness in other religions was not part of the caste census. He claimed that BJP leaders were losing sleep because of the fact that Rahul Gandhi came up with the idea of caste census, which the center has now decided to carry out.
“Rahul Gandhi is a hero in the country for caste census and Revanth Reddy is a hero in the state,” he said he criticized BJP for trying to demand this decision. He claims that Mr. Kishan Reddy’s claim spoke of BJP’s commitment, claimed and asked why BJP leaders ignored the same caste survey, although Rahul Gandhi repeatedly asked for it. Mr. Jagga Reddy said that the key result of Bharat Jodo Yatry was the idea of caste census that appeared during the interaction of Mr. Gandhi with masses throughout the country.
The former MLA said BJP attempts to accept recognition for the caste census are no benefit and that the vision of Rahula Gandhi will win. “If Modi does not, Rahul Gandhi will do it when he becomes prime minister,” he added.
