In the gesture of heart warming, former Mla T. Jagga Reddy and his wife and President Sangareddy DCC Nirmal Jagga Reddy donated £ 10 to save an eighteen -year -old boy who lost his vision after his head injury.
Mr. Reddy and his wife visited the family of Kishan Paware, whose son Sampuran Naik lost his vision due to weakened optical nerve connecting his eye with the brain leading to a rare state called optical hydropia.
Parents who have already spent around 5 ₹ Lakh on treatment were informed that two other critical procedures that require almost 8 lakh that the family could not afford.
When the family met Mr. Jagga Reddy and explained their situation, he donated 10 lakh to ensure Sampuran’s treatment. Mr. Reddy previously donated money to several patients affected by cancer in the Sangareddy district.
