
Tennis legend John McEnroe believes that Jack Draper Great Britain could be the main threat to the best candidates at the French Open 2025. Although the 23 -year -old man has to advance around the opening round of Roland Garros – in 2023 and 2024, McEnroe thinks Draper has the potential to challenge stars like Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.
In his career, Draper took the main step forward by reaching the US Open semifinals, where Alex de Minaur was defeated in direct sets in direct sets. At the beginning of this year he made subtitles by replacing the 24-time Grand Slam Champion Novak Djokovic on 5 in the ATP ranking, the ATP ranking, become the first British player to penetrate the first five.
“Jack, his progress really impressed me. I have to say that it has become extremely impressive. You know, it’s another of those guys after two boys (Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner) and I think he’s in Sinner, so he doesn’t do that easy.

“He stood up in a position where, well, if he doesn’t win (The French Open), he will surely be one of the best favorite in Wimbledon and will be very difficult to beat. So he will stand in a big position.
“I am really impressed by his maturity and only his level last year. So Jack will do some incredible things in the future,” McEnroe added.
Draper recently played in Madrid Open, where Casper Ruud beat her in the semifinals. After lost with Carlos Alcaraz, he crashed at the Italian open.
Draper is scheduled to start his campaign on the French Open on Monday 26th May in the first round of the Mattia Bellucci.
