The Telangana Government Employees Joint Action Committee (TGEJAC), which includes employees, teachers and pensioners, raised a number of long-pending issues and staged statewide demonstrations on Friday.
Coordinated protests were held at district collection centers and tax offices with staff wearing black ribbons and black clothing, and memoranda of demands were presented.
