Five persons, including two Pakistani nationals, were arrested on Tuesday (April 7, 2026) by the J&K Police investigating the interstate modules of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
Officials said about 19 locations in J&K, Rajasthan and Haryana were searched to destroy the LeT module.
Preliminary reports indicated that one of the arrested Pakistanis had been operating in the country for approximately 16 years.
Three residents of Srinagar were also arrested for allegedly harboring terrorists from Pakistan.
Initial reports indicated that incriminating material had been recovered from the attacked locations.
Meanwhile, official sources said that the wanted Pakistani terrorist managed to leave India with the help of local leadership from Rajasthan.
The J&K Police has not yet issued any statement regarding the arrest and the Cross-State module.
