IUML Thiruvananthapuram District President passed away at the age of 65

Beemapally Rasheed, Thiruvananthapuram district president of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), died here on Thursday. He was 65. He served as the state secretary of the Muslim League, the district convener of the United Democratic Front (UDF) and as a UDF councilor in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. He served as chairman of Horticorp, SIDCO and KEL during previous UDF governments. He entered public life through the Muslim Students Federation (MSF).

Kerala Chief Minister VD Satheesan condoled his demise and said he played a big role in the growth of Muslim League and UDF in south Kerala.
