
Sandhya Shekhar, Prashant Jain, Mathew Cyriac and Vineet Saraiwala are the beneficiaries of the alumni awards awarded by the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IAMB) to their graduates. Prices will be handed over on June 15th.
DAA is introduced to graduates as recognition of their achievements of exceptional merit and excellence in their chosen field of effort. Each award receives a quote and its name is engraved on the wall of fame in IAMB.
Mrs. Shekhar, (PGP 1984), is an advisor and strategic consultant of several business entities in the field of business strategy and digital transformation and serves as an independent director in the government councils of many companies. Mr. Jain, (PGP 1991), founder and main investment director of 3P investment managers, is 31 years of investment management. He holds the difference that he is the only manager of the fund in India and one of the few globally to constantly control the system for over 28 years (HDFC Balanced Advance Fund) and the first Fund manager in India, managed by 1 lakh crore stock funds.
Mr. Cyriac, (PGP 1994), whose career lasts for over 30 years, was recognized for many first during his investment roles in India and the USA. Now he is the executive chairman of PE Florintree Advisors and Co-Founder in Deep Tech Fund Yali Capital. Mr. Saraiwala (PGP 2015) is the founder and CEO of Atypical Advantage, which influenced the approach of India to include disabilities as a business imperative. In 2024, the organization received the National Social Impact and National Award for Best Placement, presented by the Indian President.
IUMB will also organize an orientation for the incoming cohort of its two-year-old MBA programs, PGP and PGPBA, 2025-2027, 9 June.
