Despite the solid 120-run opening stand between Gill (60) and Sai Sudhasan (56), GT could have been saved for 180/6 for 180/6.

Gill, however, found positives in the fight of her team with the ball. “We were behind the game, but if we got a few quick goals, we could take the match deep. After the tenth over a few goals we got a few goals, but the ball didn’t stop as much as we thought.”
“The fight to the end was a good sign for us. It was an interview in the second time limit – that we take it as deepened as possible,” Gill concluded.
