IT Minister N. Lokesh and Tata Hitachi MD Sandeep Singh at the inauguration ceremony of the company’s dealership showroom at Atmakur near Mangalagiri on Wednesday
IT Minister Nara Lokesh inaugurated Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Limited’s car showroom and machinery care facility at Atmakur near Mangalagiri on Wednesday.
It was established by Sri Dhanalakshmi Auto Agencies Pvt. Ltd. from the Lakshmi Group.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Lokesh said dealerships like Tata Hitachi were as important as Google for job creation, which was at the top of the government’s agenda. He found that for companies like Google to invest in Andhra Pradesh, an ecosystem is necessary to build. This is where excavators and bulldozers come in and require service centers.
Mr. Lokesh said that the Lakshmi group is a highly committed organization and Andhra Pradesh needs more such companies to achieve the desired growth. He noticed that Mangalagiri was advancing at a fast pace as the gateway to Amaravati.
Social infrastructure was being built for those working in Amaravati to live in Mangalagiri, which was developed by the government against the backdrop of war, he said.
The minister recalled that he came to Mangalagiri 21 days before the 2019 elections but due to lack of time he could not fully understand the problems of the people. As a result, he said he lost by a slim margin of 5,300 votes. Over the next five years, Mr Lokesh said he endeared himself to the masses and won the 2024 elections with an impressive majority of 91,000 people. He focused on the development of the city and the results were visible, according to him.
Mr. Lokesh said the government had taken a number of development initiatives, including housing plots, a 100-bed hospital, community buildings, underground sewerage and drinking water supply. According to him, the gem and jewelery park was in the process of being established.
He asked Tata Hitachi MD Sandeep Singh to continue supporting Andhra Pradesh and promised to extend all cooperation on behalf of the government.
Lakshmi Group Chairman Kambhampati Rammohan Rao, MD K. Jayaram, Managing Director G. Bharat Bhushan and Director K. Venkata Sivarama Krishna were present.
