
The Government of Telangany called on applications for new licenses in an area that will replace previously closed facilities, with a deadline set for April 26. This step monitors licenses for 40 bars throughout the state for various reasons, which forced the government to order their renewal.
The Commissioner for Prohibition and Consumer Tax C. Hari Kiran issued a notice of renewal notifications for 25 bars in the Telangana districts – including five bars in Adilabad, one in Karimnagar, four in Warangal, two in Khammam, one in Nalgonda, five in Mahabubnagar.
Due to the upcoming MLC elections for the local authorities within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), requests for 15 bar in urban areas are not accepted at the moment, the authorities clarify.
In Saroornagar, a notice for a new license for a bar license in Meerpet Municipality was issued to replace the previous device. Interested applicants have to pay a 1 lakh application fee, while the bar license will cost £ 42. The ministry also invited applications for a new license in the bar in Kodangal. The registration fee was set at 1 Lakh 1, while the annual license fee will be 30 lakh.
