
Israeli defensive forces (IDF) announced on Saturday that they killed one of the founding members of Hamas in an air strike in coordination with the Israeli Security Agency (ISA).
Hakham Muhammad Issa al-ISSA, a high-ranking commander in the Hamas military wing, was focused and killed on Friday in the neighborhood of Sabry in Gaza.
According to IDF, Al-ISSA served as the head of the Hamas combat support, supervised the group’s military training operations, played a central role in building his military abilities in the Gaza Strip, and was part of the Hamas Council Council.

Eliminated Hakham Muhammad Issa al-ISSA, one of the founders of Hamas’s military wing. Issa led Hamas’s power of accumulation, training and planning a massacre 7 October. As the head of combat support, he advanced air and naval attacks against the Israelis, ”IDF said in a post on X.
IDF & ISA will continue to locate and eliminate all terrorists involved in the 7th October massacre, and the IDF also added.
Issino killing comes shortly after a row of high -ranking Israeli operations focused on militant leaders. Just a few days earlier, IDF announced that Abu Sharia, head of the Mujahideen Brigade – excluded the Palestinian jihadist group accused of kidnapping and the execution of Hamas hostage during the attacks of 7th October.
Abu Sharia was killed in Gaza in a joint mission IDF and Israeli internal security agency The Shin Bet.
In a separate operation last month, IDF also eliminated Hamas’s leader Mohammad Sinwara in an air strike in a hospital in Gaza. Sinwar was hiding in tunnels under the device, and dramatic shots later showed that Israeli soldiers would pull his body out of the debris.
