
Trouble in SRH camp ahead of IPL 2026 season? The intrasquad match on Saturday, March 21 saw a heated moment as a team interim captain Ishan Kishan he received a fiery dismissal from his own teammate Zeeshan Ansari.
The incident occurred in the eighth over of SRH B’s innings with Kishan and Liam Livingston in full swing. The wicketkeeper dismantled Ansari for 20 runs before the spinner had the last laugh and dismissed the SRH interim skipper. While the celebrations are usually subdued during intra-team matches, Ansari was not happy with Kishan going after him for the shootout and sent him off in a fiery manner.

Angered, Ansari kept signaling Kishan to head to the pavilion and the pair also exchanged words. Kishan was able to see the funny side of things and laughed as he left the field. You can watch the full video below:

While there were speculations on social media suggesting trouble inside the camp, it appears that it was only in the heat of the moment.
KISHAN, ABHISHEK PERFORMED DURING THE MATCH
Both Abhishek Sharma and Kishan impressed with the bat in Saturday’s match, giving SRH hope heading into the IPL 2026 opener against RCB. Abhishek, who struggled for form during the T20 World Cup, scored quickfire 94.
Kishan was dismissed by Ansari for 72 off just 24 balls as Hyderabad fans will be happy to see the interim captain and vice-captain in action ahead of the first match of the season.
SRH will face RCB in the southern derby on March 28 in Bengaluru to start the IPL 2026 campaign.
