New York Letitia James, a long -term criticism of US President Donald Trump, was charged with the accusation of mortgage fraud and false statements in the Eastern District of Virginia on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Justice.
The accusation stems from the purchase of houses from 2020 in Norfolk, Virginia, where Léitia James allegedly distorted the status of real estate to obtain favorable loan conditions. The accusations come in the middle of a growing control over the use of the federal power of Trump’s administration to focus on their political opponents, including officials who investigated or publicly against the President.
James, Democrat, drew Trump’s anger after filed him a lawsuit accusing him of inflating his wealth to build his business empire.

In the paper on X shortly after the indictment, the General Prosecutor of Pam Bondi wrote: “One level of justice for all Americans.”
“No one is above the law,” said Halligan, an American lawyer for the eastern district of Virginia. “The accusation, as stated in this case, represents intentional, crimes and a huge violation of public confidence. Acts and the law in this case are clear and we will continue to follow to ensure that justice is delivered.”

Trump advocates the accusations of James for the Moon, publishes on social media without quoting any evidence that he is “guilty as hell” and tells reporters in the White House: “It looks as if it is really wine, but I really don’t know.”
These accusations are unfounded and the President’s own public statement explains that his only goal is political retribution at all costs.
The accusation was announced only one day after James Comey appeared in court for accusing that he lied to Congress in 2020. Comey’s lawyer reported the judge that he intends to seek the release of the case before court and claims that it is a retaliation that he ordered the president.
